The following covers some of the most frequently asked questions here at Kids Klub. Below we cover everything from registration, fees, catchment, government subsidies, and specific questions regarding our programs. Simply download the application forms here or contact Kids Klub Head Office and forms will be mailed to you. Please complete all forms and ensure your registration fee and payment method are included. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
When your forms have been received by the Head Office you will receive confirmation of receipt. If you are pre-registering for a program your application will be date-stamped and Kids Klub will contact you shortly to advise you of your status.
Kid’s Klub works along side the Supported Child Development (SCD) Program, based at the Queen Alexandra Centre for Children’s Health. If you have a child who may need extra support the School Age SCD Program serves children from Kindergarten to twelve years of age. This team of consultants will work with you and Kid’s Klub to enhance and support inclusion in our program.

All of our drivers pass the ICBC class 2 or 4 licensing process as well as passing a test with a qualified driving school. Our fleet undergoes vehicle inspections every 6 months as well as regular maintenance.
The staff at Kids Klub Centre provide opportunities for the continued development of each child’s social, physical, emotional, cultural and intellectual needs. All staff are 19 years of age or older, hold a current Child Safe First Aid Certificate and have a current Criminal Record Check.
Our Site Managers are required to constantly undergo training to ensure they are up to date with the latest in the field of childcare. Kids Klub makes an effort to employ staff who are working towards, or have achieved post-secondary studies in the field of child care.
Yes. If this is your first time applying to a Kids Klub program please contact us to have a Child Care Giver Information Form completed and faxed to the Victoria Subsidy Office. Kids Klub is happy to offer general information on subsidy, but we are not responsible for applying, renewing, or contacting subsidy on your behalf. Please refer to our Locations Guide for general site listings. Kids Klub has been servicing many schools for several years now, and they have become established services. Kids Klub offers care at many of the schools, or will pick up and drop off to schools as the program enrollment allows.
At this time Kids Klub requires a minimum of five students from a school for it to be serviced. If you have any questions please contact us for further information.
Kids Klub is a not-for-profit organization and we are committed to keeping our programs accessible for families and as such we endeavor to maintain a high enrollment in order to decrease the overall cost of care.
This sometimes means that we are not able to enroll children on a part-time or drop-in basis if there are full time families wishing to enroll. Part-time & drop-in care is granted only on a case-by-case basis by management if the site is not full. Kids Klub reserves the right to give 4 weeks notice that part-time/drop-in care will no longer be available at that location. In such an instance that part time child/drop in child will have the option to switch to full-time care or withdraw.
Monthly activities are planned by the staff, and are geared towards the specific ages and interests of the children at the site. These activities may include swimming, skating, bowling, out-trips to parks and museums, as well as a variety of crafts, sports and other on-site activates.
Children always have a choice of which activities they participate in. Parents are given a monthly calendar that outlines the activities their children will be doing that month.
No. Kids Klub provides a nutritious after-school snack. If your child has any food allergies please indicate them on your application form. On full day programs (Summer Day Camps, Professional Days, Holiday Break Camps) please remember to send a morning snack and lunch with your child.
No. Kids Klub fees include all activities, entrance fees, and supplies.
Yes. Receipts for Parent Payments will be issued mid February for the previous year. Receipts will not include amounts that were received from Subsidy. Kids Klub will send receipts for children currently enrolled in a program to the site they attend. Receipts for families with children no longer in Kids Klub programs at this time will be mailed. Please remember to keep your address with Kids Klub up to date!
